The 10th China International Automobile Powertrain Summit

How China will achieve the dual carbon goals of carbon emission peaking by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 is under the spotlight. A very specific state goal has been set. CO2 emission per unit of GDP shall drop by over 65% compared with that in 2005, and the share of non-fossil energy in total primary energy consumption shall rise to around 25% by 2030. China’s determination to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals shows that its economy begins to go through a full-blown low-carbon transition. Against the backdrop and based on the success of nine predecessors, the 10th China International Automotive Powertrain Summit (IAPS 2022) will continue to focus on the reality of China automotive powertrain industry and cover extensive topics including the latest industry policies, regulations and market strategies, core technologies of traditional internal combustion engines and gearboxes, as well as latest technologies and future trends of powertrain electrification, which may shed some light on how the automotive industry will transform and upgrade. IAPS 2022 consists of a plenary session and three parallel sessions. The plenary session will be held on Day 1, and the parallel sessions on internal combustion engine and hybrid power, gearbox, and power battery on Day 2.
